The approximately two-hour bus tour is led by a local actress tour guide and devoted Devil Wears Prada superfan. The tour guide brought plenty of personality, behind-the-scenes commentary, movie trivia, and high-glam energy along the way. The tour will take you through Midtown, Upper East Side and the Upper West Side.

Tour Stops

Our tour started in the heart of Manhattan, at 1221 Avenue of the Americas. This location features the iconic landmark tower, which serves as the headquarters of Runway Magazine.

Once we boarded the private tour bus, we made our way to the first tour stop: 50 Hudson Yards. 50 Hudson Yards is home to Dior’s offices and a key setting in the movie Devil Wears Prada 2. Next, we made our way to the American Museum of Natural History. The exterior serves as the entrance to a major gala scene from the movie. Here, you can walk the museum’s steps, just like the film’s characters, and snap a stylish selfie.

Back onto the bus for the next few stops, which include the Waldorf Astoria, Smith and Wollensky and Hermes.

You may remember from the first movie when Miranda orders Andy to bring her a steak from Smith and Wollensky for lunch from the Third Avenue and E. 49th St location. Or, when the character “Emily” had to go to Hermes for some scarfs.

Next was a quick drive to the Upper East Side to visit a townhouse where one of the main characters, Miranda Priestly, lives. The address for the townhouse is 129 East 73rd. One of the final stops on the tour is in Central Park, which appears in the original film and the sequel. From the original film, we visited the site of Nigel’s “Urban Jungle” photoshoot. In the sequel, characters Andy and Nigel stroll through Central Park during a somber scene.

Fun fact: Central Park is the most filmed location in the world.
