RAGU Homestyle Pasta Sauce
Last week I was invited by RAGÚ to partner with them and help spread the word about the NEW RAGU Homestyle Pasta Sauce line. As a result of the invitation I attended a live event in New York City at the Bowery Hotel to learn more about the . Not a bad day at the office if you ask me. Although I can’t complain, my real day job is pretty rocking, too.
When I arrived at the beautiful Bowery Hotel, I was invited to the rooftop where this beautiful living wall greeted me. I just wanted to grab those tomatoes and make something fresh. It was so inviting and set the perfect tone for an afternoon of fresh, pasta-filled fun.
As the afternoon progressed we were invited to make our own pasta dishes from the fresh pasta bar. The bar featured a variety of pasta noodles and zoodles, as well as garlic, onions, and tons of fresh, chopped vegetables. Of course there was also fresh herbs and cheese – you can’t forget the cheese. The pasta dish was finished with the RAGÚ Homestyle pasta sauce.
RAGU Homestyle pasta sauce is thicker and heartier so it hugs pasta perfectly. Thanks to a bold combination of vine-ripened tomatoes, onions and fragrant herbs, you won’t need to doctor these delicious sauces – just heat and serve straight from the jar. Everyone was raving over the deliciousness of our lunch, and how simple it was to put together, it inspired me to share how to make a DIY Pasta Bar at home – but more on that later
I couldn’t wait for my family to taste this sauce and enjoy the new RAGU Homestyle Pasta Sauce for themselves. I mean, we all know a great pasta sauce is a must-have in my family’s pantry. I am a huge proponent of almost everything homemade but I also rely on certain pantry staples to help me with my busy schedule and pasta sauce is one of my favorite pantry staples. I use pasta sauce on everything, from pasta to chicken parmigiana, meatballs and sausage and peppers to skillet lasagna – my kids just love it and squeal with delight when I tell them we are having “red sauce” for dinner.
The RAGU Homestyle Pasta Sauce comes in a variety of flavors (Traditional, Meat, Roasted Garlic, Four Cheese and Mushroom) and use peeled, chopped and simmered ingredients to create a thick, hearty texture. Plus, I feel good serving them to my family because they contain no artificial colors, no artificial flavors and no high-fructose corn syrup. It has quickly become my go-to sauce because of it has a made-from-scratch taste that my family craves.

More About RAGÚ
Although this line of mouth-watering sauces is new, the RAGÚ brand has a long, rich Italian history. After emigrating from Naples Italy, RAGÚ’s founder, Assunta Cantisano, started selling pasta sauce made from her family’s recipe from her front porch in Rochester, NY, during the Great Depression. The sauce’s ingredients were grown in her own backyard garden and prepared right in her kitchen. The RAGÚ brand continues to be inspired by Assunta’s simple and time-tested approaches to cooking and her commitment to quality, which is why they’re paying tribute to Assunta’s garden today with their location selection.
Just wait until you try the NEW RAGU Homestyle pasta sauce, you’re going to love it!

I’ve never considered a Pasta Bar. For light summer meals we do salad and potato bars, even taco and grilled burrito bars. Ragu was my Moms only go-to store bought pasta sauce. This is definitely on our radar for the summer!
Coming from an Italian family…A Pasta Bar is a great idea! I have got to try this! Affordable too!
