Sharing the latest cocktail from my cocktail column in Ocean City Magazine, Sparkling Cranberry Sangria.

With the holiday season comes family gatherings, celebrations and parties. What better way to get into the seasonal spirit than with a festive Sparkling Cranberry Sangria? Perfect for a crowd, this easy-to-prepare cocktail transforms a few simple ingredients into a festive drink that can be enjoyed for Thanksgiving and right through the Christmas season. 

Sparkling Cranberry Sangria

This Sparkling Cranberry Sangria cocktail features white wine, sparking apple cranberry juice and an assortment of seasonal fruits including pears, cranberries and limes. I also added herbs like cinnamon sticks and rosemary.

To start, I sliced the pears and limes and filled a pitcher with a layer of fruit by adding frozen (or fresh) cranberries, pear slices and lime slices. To finish, I topped the fruit with wine and sparking apple cranberry juice.
