Could there be anything more perfect than this RumChata and Cold Brew Coffee RumChata Iced Coffee drink?
Here’s a little backstory on how the RumChata Iced Coffee came to be.
Saturday was an incredible day. The sun was shining and I spent the whole day outside, listening to music and taking care of outdoor to-do items. I had to wake up early that morning for my son’s lacrosse game over an hour away so by the afternoon I was feeling a little sluggish. I wanted a cocktail but also wanted a cup of coffee.
These are two of my favorite things, a good cup of coffee and a delicious cocktail.
A little lightbulb went off in my head and I thought, why not make a RumChata Iced Coffee?
This is such a simple cocktail, it literally comes together in minutes. To start, I began by filling a highball glass with crushed ice. I then filled the glass with one part RumChata.
I topped the RumChata with three parts cold brew coffee (I used High Brew Coffee, the Black and Bold Variety).
To finish, I added a straw and gently stirred the coffee and RumChata to blend.
With the first sip, I was in absolute heaven. It was the perfect combination of coffee and cream. This RumChata Iced Coffee is definitely going on my Summer Cocktail List for the Summer. This is going to be a popular drink when entertaining guests at the beach!
RumChata Iced Coffee
Ingredients
- 1 part RumChata
- 3 parts Cold Brew Coffee
Instructions
- In a glass over ice combine one part RumChata and three parts Cold Brew Coffee. Stir to blend and serve. Enjoy!
