This post gives an overview of the fun Pandora food from Pandora – The World of Avatar at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom with details from the Pongu Pongu menu and Satu’li Canteen menu.

“Kaltxi” (Hello) from Pandora – The World of Avatar at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom!

On our tour of this beautiful land, we decided to take a break from the hidden trails of beautiful lush landscaping and sailing on the tranquil Na’vi River to grab a bite to eat and sample some fun Pandora food.

We learned that the locals visit one of two restaurants located in the land: Pongu Pongu and Satu’li Canteen. Naturally, we had to try them both. We also will share details from the Pongu Pongu menu and the Satu’li Canteen menu.

Pandora Food: Pongu Pongu Menu

Pandora Foods

Our first stop was Pongu Pongu. a quick service beverage stand that offers drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) breakfast bites, as well as snacks.

Pandora FoodPongu Pongu meu includes:

Breakfast Menu:

  • Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit
  • French Toast Sticks
  • Pongu Lumpia (Pineapple Cream Cheese Spring Roll) – pictured above

After 11:00 am Food Menu:

  • Colossal Pretzel (with Beer Cheese Sauce)
  • Pongu Lumpia (Pineapple Cream Cheese Spring Roll) – pictured above

Non-Alcoholic Drink Menu:

  • Coca-Cola® Bottled Beverages, DASANI® Bottled Water
  • Night Blossom – A non-alcoholic specialty beverage that includes layered apple and desert pear limeade slushy topped w/ passion fruit boba balls.

Alcoholic Beverages:

  • Mo’ara High Country Ale Draft Beer (Amber Ale w/ a Spicy Hop Aroma)
  • Hawkes’ Grog Ale Draft Beer (Fruity Hop w/ notes of Apricot and Peach)
  • Rum Blossom (Night Blossom with Bacardi Superior Rum) – pictured above
  • Mo’ara Margarita (Sauza Conmemorativo Añejo Tequila and Blue Curaçao w/ Lime Juice topped w/ Passion Fruit Boba Balls)

Our Thoughts: If you like pineapple, you have to try the Pongu Lumpia! The price point ($3.29) makes it a more affordable Disney treat, and it’s a good size for two people to share (although I don’t think you’ll want to share this one.)

My family’s favorite drink is the Night Blossom (Rum Blossom for the adults). Forewarning- this is super sweet, but on a hot Florida day, the slushy limeade is so refreshing and the Passion Fruit Boba balls are a fun pop! I am also a fan of the Hawkes’ Grog Ale, but if you have to choose between the two, choose the Rum Blossom (I’m more of a rum girl).

  • Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl
  • Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl
  • Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl
  • Cheeseburger Steamed Pods
  • Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl

Kids Menu

  • Cheeseburger Steamed Pod
  • “Teylu” (Pigs in a blanket)
  • Cheese Quesadilla

Served w/ mandarin orange, veggies chips and drink

“Ber’ri” (Desserts):

  • Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse
  • Chocolate Cake

Special Beverages:

  • Pandoran Sunrise with Na’vi Flute Cup (blend of Tropical Juices including Pineapple, Mango, Lime and a hint of Melon w/ a Pineapple garnish served in a Na’vi Flute Cup)

Our thoughts: Satu’li Canteen is one of the best options for a sit down meal at Animal Kingdom. They have a great selection of food, and everything we tried was flavorful and filling. We can’t wait to make it back to Pandora to try something new off the menu at Satu’li Canteen. If nothing else, you have to try the cheeseburger pods. The Na’vi knew exactly what they were doing with that dish!
