Sure today is National Pancake Day but that is not the reason for this post. I am here to help make your weekly meal planning a bit easier by suggesting that you make Wednesday night Breakfast Night!
We all know that putting dinner on the table every night can be challenging. One fun way to avoid dinner boredom is serving up breakfast for dinner. Whether you call it “Brinner” or just a break from the routine, it’s a great option that more than 91% of Americans say they have tried, and 25% of us do it at least once a week. So do you have a Breakfast Night tradition in your house? If not, Krusteaz wants to help by earmarking Wednesday night as Breakfast Night.
Since February is National Hot Breakfast Month and today is National Pancake Day, this week seems like the perfect time to kick-start a fun, new meal into your weekly routine.
For us, Wednesdays are a tough night. We have homework and my oldest son has to attend CCD which cuts right into dinnertime. After rushing home from work I have a short window of time to get dinner on the table and in everyone’s belly.
I like to go with a traditional breakfast for our #BreakfastNight. I serve fresh made pancakes, using Krusteaz mixes, fresh fruit, juice, coffee and fresh chocolate chunk muffins.
You could even get a little creative – get the kids involved and create pancake art or even set up your very own pancake bar – the ideas are endless. The kids will totally love it and you will be a dinnertime hero. It’s a win-win.
Take the stress out of dinner tomorrow and make Wednesday night Breakfast Night!

Breakfast night is always enjoyed by my family. It’s Belgian Waffles with a variety of flavored syrups. Sometimes it’s pancakes or french toast. It’s the easiest meal to prepare and everyone loves it.
How would I make it breakfast night? My girls like eggs so I would fry up eggs, serve some pancakes and syrup, and make some yummy bacon with OJ.
I love having breakfast for dinner! We will have eggs, pancakes, bacon, and fried apples! Yummo!
