St. Patrick’s Day is just days away and it is time to get into the spirit with these cute and simple Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats.

The Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats I am sharing with you today are an upgrade to the recipe shared in Shore Local. With just a handful of ingredients and your microwave, you’re just minutes away from a lucky little treat.
Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats
To begin, I started by coating an 8×8-inch baking pan with cooking spray (you can also use butter or coconut oil). Next, I melted the butter in the microwave and then quickly stirred in marshmallows and mixed thoroughly until melted.
Then, I added the cereals and gently folded them into melted marshmallow-butter mixture until the cereal was completely coated.
The mixture was then transferred into the prepared baking pan. I lightly pressed the mixture into an even layer and allowed it to for about one hour. Once cooled, I cut into 2-inch squares and dipped each square in melted candy melts to coat the top and then sprinkled with a handful of Lucky Charms cereal and marshmallows. I then allowed to square to cool again before serving.

Lucky Charms Marshmallow Treats
Ingredients
- Cooking Spray
- 5 TBSP Butter
- 1 package of mini marshmallows 10 ounces (or about 4 cups)
- 2 cups marshmallow cereal, like Lucky Charms
- 4 cups crisp rice cereal, like Rice Krispies
- 1/2 bag white candy melts
- marhsmallow cereal, like Lucky Charms, to sprinkel on top
Instructions
- Coat an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray
- Melt the butter in a large bowl in the microwave
- Quickly stir in marshmallows and stir thoroughly until melted.
- Add cereals and gently fold into melted marshmallow-butter mixture. Stir until cereal is completely coated.
- Transfer mixture into prepared baking pan. Lightly press mixture into an even layer.
- Cool at room temperature for about an hour.
- Cut into 2-inch squares
- Melt candy melts, dip tops of each square in melted candy
- Sprinkle Lucky Charms cereal on top, allow to cool
