I WAS INVITED TO EXPERIENCE A WEEKEND IN HERSHEY BY THE HERSHEY ENTERTAINMENT & RESORTS COMPANY. ALL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN.

After visiting MeltSpa by Hershey I made a Chocolate Body Butter recipe inspired by my Sweet Feet Dark Chocolate Treatment and to serve as a little reminder to pamper myself once in a while.

My Mother’s Day was a little lack luster this year. I had high expectations for Mother’s Day this year and the day just didn’t seem to meet my expectations. It wasn’t anyone fault in particular –  as my husband says, everyday is Mother’s Day, but more about me and how I’m feeling.

Self care is something I struggle with. While I make time to get my nails and my hair done, I don’t do much to take care of myself on an everyday basis. After spending time at the MeltSpa at Hershey, I decided I wanted to do a better job of taking care of myself everyday.

Daily “me time” begins today thanks to this incredible DIY Chocolate Body Butter. I was inspired to make this Chocolate Body Butter after visiting the MeltSpa by Hershey during my Sweet Welcome Weekend

Chocolate Body Butter

To begin, I gathered my ingredients. My Chocolate Body Butter recipe is made with raw shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa powder and vanilla.

To begin, I put the ingredients in a large bowl and then whipped them until fluffy.

I then portioned the Chocolate Body Butter into small jars with lids. The recipe made about three small jars. The Chocolate Body Butter was so easy to make. Not only did it smell incredible but it made my skin smooth, soft and hydrated. This recipe would be a wonderful DIY gift during the holidays, Valentine’s Day and even Mother’s Day.

MeltSpa by Hershey

Melt Spa by Hershey

MeltSpa by Hershey is a Luxury Day Spa located in downtown Hershey, PA. MeltSpa by Hershey offers a full range of spa treatments and salon services and features Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Treatments.

At the MeltSpa by Hershey there are nine premier treatment rooms, locker rooms, a spacious, open salon, and a private relaxation room where chocolate kisses fill all the bowls and the most decadent hot chocolate is served.

Melt Spa by Hershey

To begin, I reviews the MeltSpa by Hershey menu of services and decided on my treatment.

Melt Spa by Hershey

I decided to get one of the Chocolate Treatments and chose the Sweet Feet Dark Chocolate Treatment which included spa pedicure consisting of chocolate exfoliation, dark chocolate mousse mask, and relaxing cocoa massage.

It was the most divine pedicure I’ve ever received, plus the smell that came from all of the products was delicious. I got to relax for a bit while these chocolate booties warmed my feet and allowed the mousse mask to soak into my feet.

While relaxing I had the chance to check out the Spa Menu a bit more and read about all of the other treatments. The Dark Chocolate Immersion and the Cocoa Facial sound incredible and when I head back to Hershey I will certainly be reserving time for some treatments.

After our treatments were over, a few of my bloogy buddies, including Ashley from Teachable Mommy, Clarissa from Clarissa Explains It All and Melissa from The Farm Girl Gabs and me gathered in the MeltSpa lobby to snap a pic of our sweet feet. I am the set of toes with the black pedicure. Melt Spa by Hershey

MeltSpa by Hershey would be a wonderful experience for a Girlfriend’s Getaway or just a little “me” time.

After the low-key Mother’s Day that I had this year I would have LOVED a little “me time” at MeltSpa. Since I can’t visit Hershey everyday I decided to bring a little bit of that feeling home. Maybe it will remind me to take a bit more time for myself each day.

Happy Pampering!
