Cherry Smoothie Bowl

I’m sorry, but I am not ready for summer to end. I am going to miss riding my bike up to the boardwalk (I live in a beach town!) to my favorite shop for a freshly made smoothie or acai bowl. As much as I try to pay attention to each and every ingredient and how they prepare their bowls, I just can’t seem to replicate that boardwalk flavor … must be that beach air. BUT, this recipe is definitely a strong replacement and will hold me over until summer and me meet again.

Cherry Bowl Smoothie

The ingredients for this Cherry Smoothie Bowl are simple and clean. Now, more than ever, I am paying closer attention to what goes into my body. I focus on whole ingredients as much as possible and stay away from canned goods, prepared foods and convenience items. Don’t get me wrong, I still like to keep things easy which is why this recipe works. With a few simple ingredients of frozen cherries, banana, almond milk and vanilla extract, you have everything you need for a filling and satisfying bowl.
