Candy Corn for breakfast?! Yes, you read that right. I gave my boys candy corn for breakfast, but not the kind of candy corn you are thinking about. I used candy corn as my inspiration for this halloween candy corn breakfast idea.
My take on a halloween candy corn breakfast idea consisted of scrambled eggs, orange segments and bananas topped with vanilla yogurt arranged in the shape of a candy corn. It was a fun way to start off the morning and coincided with Orange Day and the boys wearing their Halloween shirts to school. We are definitely in the Halloween spirit here.
I rarely miss an opportunity to make food fun and obviously, the holidays lend itself to fun foods more than anything. Pinterest has really helped me with some creative food ideas but I also like to challenge myself and create original ideas. This halloween candy corn breakfast idea is an original and I have not been able to find anything similar online. It was obviously very easy to make and the boys ate it super fast; even my little one who isn’t a huge fan of eggs gobbled this right up!
Here are some other images of foods I have made over the years. Some were inspired by Pinterest, copied directly from others and some were original ideas. Hope you enjoy! If you like any of the images, please pin them to Pinterest and help spread the word on Giggles, Gobbles and Gulps!
So send your little ones off to school in the Halloween spirit. Make this halloween candy corn breakfast idea and let them tell everyone they ate candy corn for breakfast!
That is absolutely adorable. You always come up with the such creative presentations!
