Blogging is an interesting gig. You spend a lot of time on-line connecting with readers, PR professionals, brands and other bloggers. Sometimes I feel like I work in two worlds – the real world during my day job and the on-line world. Thanks to the Disney Social Media Moms On-The-Road I was able to bring my on-line world to life.
Disney Social Media Moms On-The-Road is an invitation only on-the-road mini version of the Disney Social Media Moms conference. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the New York City On-The-Road celebration in 2013, the full Disney Social Media Moms Celebration at Disneyland Park in CA (which I recapped here, here, here and here) and the 2014 Disney Social Media Moms On-The-Road in my hometown of Philadelphia. This on top of visiting Disneyland in Paris in 2013.
To say we had a full year of Disney would be a complete understatement and were are so grateful. Disney was what I needed and it was what my family needed. Sometimes life hands you a boatload of challenges but things were a little easier thanks to that magical Disney pixie dust.
This year’s Disney Social Media Moms On-The-Road celebration included presentations from several key Disney representatives talking all things Disney, Lori Lorenz from HP, Victoria Lim presented on optimizing cell phone pictures (which my friend Tina fabulously recapped here), a moms-panel of Mom business owners and getting your mojo back thanks to the Mojo Coach.
It was a great day of learning and experiencing all things Disney and a chance to connect with some of favorite Philadelphia gal pals. I enjoy the company of so many of fellow blogging buddies but we rarely get to see each other because we all juggling work, our homes, families and blogs. We are a busy bunch. But, events like the Disney Social Media Moms On-The-Road allow us to learn and connect – all at once.
They are super cool bunch and it’s great to give hugs, pose for a few pictures and catch up.
Thank you to Disney for once again inviting me to be part of their Disney Social Media Moms Celebration with the On-The-Road Event. I can’t wait to see (and hear) what Disney has in store next.
To conclude, because we live in the world of hashtags, I thought you would enjoy this super cute video shared at the On-The-Road-Event. It is 140 Disney characters assembling into a hashtag (get it, Twitter – 140 charters?!) I just love it.

I was invited to attend DSMM On-The-Road event for free. I was not asked to write about this event but wanted to share my experience with you.
Looks like it was a good time this year!
That video was so cute! I am so jealous of all of your Disney outings! If they ever want a non-mom, send them my way! 😉
