Sharing the latest cocktail from my cocktail column in Ocean City Magazine, Rosé Margarita.
Synonymous with the summer season, rosé rules. When choosing a wine to compliment your days in the sun and sand, rosé is a perfect choice. For this month’s cocktail, we are pairing crisp, refreshing rosé with the ingredients of another summer cocktail favorite to create rosé margaritas or rosaritas. Try this new twist on the classic margarita, and you’ll be saying rosé all day. Cheers!
Rosé Margarita
A Rosé Margarita is a refreshing twist on the classic margarita, blending the crisp, fruity notes of rosé wine with the tangy zest of lime and the bold kick of tequila. This pink-hued cocktail is light, slightly floral, and perfect for warm-weather sipping. Typically served over ice with a salted or sugared rim, it’s an elegant yet playful drink that combines the best of two favorites—rosé and margarita—into one irresistibly vibrant mix. Ideal for brunches, poolside lounging, or happy hour with a summery vibe.
It starts with your favorite rosé and your favorite tequila. Choose an affordable bottle of rosé instead of more expensive bottles. The rosé used in this recipe was under $10.

The rosé, tequila, and other ingredients are combined in a cocktail shaker and poured over ice into a salt-rimmed margarita glass. So simple yet so unique.
