Special thanks to the Genesis G80 team for the opportunity to experience this car and enjoy it for one week. #DriveGenesis
Being busy is just something I am getting used to. With two active little boys, a full-time job, an entrepreneur husband, working out 3-4 times a week and my very active blog — life is, well … busy. I’m constantly on the go which often makes driving monotonous.
Just recently, I had the opportunity to try out the very sleek, very posh Genesis G80 for one week and I was in love.
The Genesis G80 took us all over the place – soccer practice, fencing lessons, lacrosse practice, work, Easter dinner and even an Easter soccer tournament where my little guy played some of the greatest games and wound up being named tournament MVP.
Who could feel stressed out by their busy life when they are riding in style on wheels like this?
About the Genesis G80
Genesis Motors is the luxury vehicle division of the South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company. Genesis launched in the U.S. in late 2016, with the sale of the G80 and G90 models and if you haven’t heard about this car yet – you will. I turned so many heads in this vehicle and people kept mistaking it for a super expensive car that starts with a B (which also happens to be the name of my yorkie).
The Genesis G80 luxury sedan has the appeal of the latest models from the competing high quality brands. I loved the driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and how it helped me keep a closer eye on my blind spot. The navigation system was super easy to use and the driverside dash was easy to use, aestethicgally pleasing and featured the latest technologies.
What was most impressive? The fuel economy of the Genesis G80. I was able to get about 15 mpg while driving around town and about 23 mpg on the highway.
The Genesis luxury brand includes two products, the G80 and G90. Both are luxury sedans and starts at about $41,400 for the basic G80 model.
