Tonight I am heading to Atlantic City to begin a fun-filled weekend of eating and drinking. It’s time for the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival 2014!
Back for its seventh year, this year’s festival includes a star-studded roster of famous culinary experts and TV personalities including Martha Stewart, Marcus Samuelsson and Robert Irvine. Each chef will be hosting a series of events Friday, Saturday and Sunday such as a burger bash, rooftop cocktail party and breakfasts and lunches by the sea. Additionally, attendees can take advantage of the grand market which includes hundreds of tasting options from vendors and exhibitors.
Giggles, Gobbles and Gulps will start the weekend on Friday with a fantastic dinner at Martorano’s, the latest restaurant to join the Atlantic City food scene.
On Saturday I will attend three roundtable interviews with Martha Stewart, Marcus Samuelsson and Robert Irvine. I attended the roundtables last year and found them to be insightful and one of my favorite parts of the weekend. Have a question you want me to ask Martha, Marcus or Robert? Leave it in the comments below and I will do my best to make sure your question is asked. I already have a couple of questions in mind but I’d like to hear what you guys are interested in too.
Once the roundtables are done I will have time to explore the Grand Market and try some of the newest food and spirits on the market. The festival will culminate for GGG with a Clam Bake hosted by Marcus Samuelsson and the ultimate party of the weekend, the Beach Soiree.
The Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival 2014 is going to be a great weekend and I can’t wait to share it with my GGG crew! Make sure to follow along on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay on top of all the latest festival happenings. Want to learn more about the festival or try to attend a few events – there is still time – visit the #ACFW2014 website.
This is one of the best events in New Jersey and I can’t wait to attend the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival 2014. Cheers!
