Have you gone apple picking yet? Sadly, we have not. We are usually pretty on top of things when it comes to making memories and continuing our traditions but this year we are running a bit behind. I am certain we will be able to fit in an apple picking session but I’m not sure exactly when. When we do get around to apple picking I will certainly be making my favorite Apple Cider Peanut Butter Dip.
Here are some of my favorite apple picking memories from year’s past.
When I look at these pictures I am blown away at how fast time has flown and how big my boys are getting. I look at these pictures of my boys when they were little and I almost don’t remember this time in my life. It was a hectic time and I was so overwhelmed. It really is sad that I wasn’t able to take a moment, breathe and savor this special time. I guess what they say is true, age definitely brings you lots of wisdom and time for reflection.
Enough with the mushy stuff, now back to the Apple Cider Peanut Butter Dip recipe.
I created this recipe a couple of years ago for a grocery store demonstration I was doing and it was a huge hit. Not only did the customers love it but my family loved it as well. It is a nice compliment to fresh, seasonal apples and is perfect for snacking or dessert.
This Apple Cider Peanut Butter Dip is so easy to prepare and comes together in minutes. But I will warn you – it is definitely not “healthy” and totally addicting. Consider yourself warned.
