Pumpkin Coquito

Sharing the latest cocktail from my cocktail column in Ocean City Magazine, Pumpkin Coquito.

Coquito is a classic Puerto Rican holiday drink made with coconut milk, rum, and sweetened condensed milk. For a festive seasonal twist, this month’s cocktail highlights a pumpkin coquito, blending in puréed pumpkin and warm spices like clove and cinnamon. This creamy creation captures the essence of fall, bringing together the rich flavors of coconut and pumpkin for a cozy, comforting sip. Cheers!

Pumpkin Coquito

I love all the ingredients used in this recipe. It may seem like a lot, but I like to think of it as creating a fall potion. Consider this pumpkin coquito your special holiday elixir.

A seasonal twist on a Puerto Rican favorite. If you enjoy this recipe, you may also like Candy Cane Eggnog recipe or the Coconut Eggnog. If you want some ideas for eggnog garnishes, you should check out this post.
