I am on day 11 of Whole30 and have been relying on salads to help me when it comes to lunches and dinners. I am a huge salad lover, whether on the Whole30 plan or not, but I especially rely on salads when I am watching what I eat.

So, if you are like me and need a little salad inspiration, I thought you might enjoy this round-up of 12 Skinny Salads for the New Year featuring some of the best salads from around the web and from some of my most favorite food blogs – as well as a few on my own.

Ready to get started and kick off a new and better you for 2016? Let’s dive right in.

First up in my 12 Skinny Salads for the New Year round-up is my absolute favorite Winter Berry Renewal Salad with Granola Croutons.

I love this salad. It is one of my all-time blog favorites. So delicious. In that same style, another one of my go-to recipes is this Quinoa Salad with Arugula, Grapes, Walnuts and Feta.

Another delicious-looking salad featuring fruit is this Summer Kale and Blueberry Salad from fellow Jersey girl, Coley Cooks.

I also love the combination of this maple roasted butternut squash and pomegranate harvest salad from Through Her Looking Glass.

If power is what you are looking for, this Power Salad from Pinch of Yum will surely put you in the right direction. I also think this Roasted Beet Salad from The Farm Girl Gabs is a winner, as well as this Detox-ish Kale Salad from Coley Cooks.

If  a more protein-packed salad is more your style, you will absolutely love this Mexican Sugar Seared Salmon Salad from my very favorite blog, the Cafe Sucre Farine. The picture makes me want to drool.

Another fish favorite is this Fish Taco Tuna Salad. I also think this simple Classic Cobb Salad from Jo-Lynne Shane is perfection.

Unique salads are also something to think about.  This Simple (No-Cook) Zucchini Caprese Salad from With Salt and Wit is an interesting salad twist and this divine Grilled Avocado Caprese Salad from my food-blog BFF, Colleen of Souffle Bombay.
