Can you believe another year has passed? This year has flown by and was by far one of my best years yet, both personally and professionally. So, in true New Year’s Eve fashion I thought it would be fun to recap GGG’s Top 10 Recipes of 2014. We’ve had some definite winners on the blog this year, and a surprise late addition has been doing surprisingly well.
One of my most popular posts is the Mason Jar Meal using EAT Barbecue Sauce. This recipe was posted in January of 2014 and has done well all year-long. Mason jars were big this year so maybe people were just looking for fun ways to use them with their meals.
Another popular post is my Authentic Steak Enchilada Tacos. With the “Big Game” soon approaching I am guessing this post will continue to do well in 2015.
Another football food that was a hit on GGG is my Asian Wonton Nachos. These are super yummy and the perfect food for a gathering with friends or even a party. Yum, yum!
During the winter I had the horrible cold that would not go away. Seriously, it lasted for weeks. To help fight it I made a Green Tea Hot Toddy. Seems you all were feeling a little ill, too, because this post also continues to do well.
My amazing friend Colleen guest posted for me when I was in California attending the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. In addition to being one of my dearest foodie friends, Colleen has given me the gift that keeps on giving with these awesome Spicy Shrimp and Guacamole Tostadas.
Right around Easter I was super excited to learn I was being featured on Huffington Post Taste for my PeepTini Easter Martini. It was definitely a fun moment as I am a fan on anything on Huffington Post.
I also had two egg recipes do very well in 2014. One was my version of Shaksuka, which I love for Sunday breakfast or brunch and the other was my Hummus Deviled Eggs. Honest Cooking also liked my Hummus Deviled Eggs as they featured them in their round-up of 10 Unique Deviled Egg Recipes.
This summer was perfect weather-wise and I found myself enjoying a cocktail or two on my patio. One of my favorite cocktails of the year on GGG was this Moscato Lime Slush. So drinkable, refreshing and buzz-worthy.
And finally, in a surprise dash at the end, my Bananas Fosterini proved to be a big hit. This cocktail was published very late in 2014 but is proving to be a top contender in terms of the more popular posts of 2014.
So there you have it, GGG’s Top 10 Recipes of 2014.
Thank your or making 2014 so fun! Cheers!
