I cohost the radio show, Table for Two. Below is a show recap of my guests from July – September 2022.
Here we are, another recap for Table for Two. In April, I announced my new role as a radio show host for Joe’s Table for Two, a talk radio show all about food, drink and travel. Table for Two is on NEWSTALK 1400 AM and 92.3 FM WOND. You can find my first three-month recap here. This post outlines my show guests for the 3rd quarter of 2022.
Below is a recap of my guests and their show appearances and my work as a radio show host:
JULY
In July I said “Aloha” to owner Joe Wallash of Playa Bowls. Playa Bowls is New Jersey’s original Acai shop, best known for its delicious bowls, smoothies and juices. They craft each menu item using fresh, high-quality ingredients, including acai, pitaya, coconut, green, chia, banana, and oatmeal. Playa Bowls opened two new locations this summer in Somers Point and Ventnor. You can also find locations in Stone Harbor, Cherry Hill, Ocean City, Wildwood and Sea Isle City. Follow Playa Bowls by location on Instagram or visit their website at https://www.playabowls.com.
Ice, Ice, Baby! My next guests on the July show were Brett Meyer and Anthony Santilli of the Island Podcast who joined me in the studio to talk about their latest collaboration, Sea Isle Spiked Iced Tea. Sea Isle Spiked Iced Tea is a malt and vodka-based spiked tea inspired by Sea Isle Ice. This ready-to-drink spiked iced tea hit the summer scene in 2022 with three flavors: the Original, made with vodka and black tea; a lemon-flavored variety made with vodka, black tea and lemon; and the Peach, made with vodka, black tea, peach and lemon. Brett and Anthony shared news about the latest product getting ready to debut on August 1st. Lastly, I welcomed Chef Dennis Littley to the show. Chef Dennis Littley spent his entire career as a classically trained chef and culinary instructor. After retiring from professional cooking, Dennis became a food blogger, and he became known as Chef Dennis. Chef Dennis brought his wealth of information to the show, including how to find, and embrace, the joy of cooking.
