Are you ready to get your RED, WHITE and BLUE on? I’m all about the 4th of July and we will be seeing stars tonight with this delicious Red White and Blue Layered Shot. It’s fun and delicious and perfectly festive.

This is a simple cocktail that is easy to make but the layered technique will certainly wow your guests and make people think you are an expert mixologist. To create this Red White and Blue Layered Shot you will need three ingredients: Grenadine, Captain Morgan Loconut and Blue Curacao. To create the layered technique you carefully stack the three spirits on top of one another. red white and blue layered shot

I’ve used the layering technique for a Christmas shot that I’ve made before and demonstrate how to achieve the layered shot technique at the 5:30 minute mark from a prior television appearance.  You simply use the same spoon-layer technique and stack the Grenadine, Captain Morgan Loconut and Blue Curacao on top of one another and voilĂ  – a perfect Red, White and Blue Layered Shot. It is really much easier than it looks to make this shot but requires a little “practice makes perfect” trial and error to master the technique.
