As a longtime mixologist I can quickly recognize a good cocktail recipe when I see one. So when my old friend from high school, Donna, shared her recipe for Homemade Salted Caramel Baileys on her Facebook page I immediately messaged her and said, “you must let me share this on my blog”. She gladly obliged.
Consider this drink a gift from the heavens. I mean, come on. Caramel+Caramel Vodka + Salt + Homemade Baileys = WINNER!
Donna and I went went to school together from 9th to 12th grade. We cheered together on the same cheerleading squad. The entire squad became best friends and we walked around calling ourselves “The Buddies” in high school. We may or may not have been annoying to the rest of the school but it didn’t matter because we were all good friends and created years of fun memories. Here is a picture of us from cheerleading camp. For some reason we made name signs and posed for this picture. You can easily identify me and Donna in the picture.
This is how Donna looks today.
Donna is now married, the mom of two cute boys, a huge Disney fan and works as a teacher. It’s awesome to still stay in touch with Donna even though we haven’t seen one another since shortly after graduation. Facebook is good for keeping in touch that way.
Now, back to what brought you here in the first place, the lure of Homemade Salted Caramel Baileys.
