Samuel Adams Porch Rocker
Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 4.5%
A seasonal craft beer from Samuel Adams, Porch Rocker is a tart lemon-flavored beer with limited availability and released specifically during the summer months. Drinkers of Samuel Adams Porch Rocker can expect a refreshing golden-colored lager beer with the added flavor of lemon, similar to a Radler-style beer.
Released in 2012 likely in response to the increasing popular of summertime shandy-style beers, Samuel Adams Porch Rocker poured a light straw color and had a nice, foamy white head which quickly disappeared without any significant lacing. Porch Rocker tastes more like a beer than some of the other style radlers and shandys out there but with a strong lemon flavor more along the lines of lemon zest.
Samuel Adams Porch Rocker is perfect for the warm, summer months when you are looking for something little lighter to sip on. The beer is light and goes down entirely too easy (if you know what I mean) and nicely compliments a wide variety of foods or can easily be enjoyed on its own.
Samuel Adams Porch Rocker is definitely GGG approved!
Samples of Samuel Adams Porch Rocker were provided. Samples did not influence my opinion and as always, opinions are my own.
